Oh, no worries. It's more amusing than upsetting. And I'm proud to say we do have at least 10 good recipes. I just find I get bored with what we have. (C probably wouldn't mind the same recipes forever, especially if I made him the occasional steak; he's very low-maintenance.) Now seems the time to experiment. It's just tough because I'm longing for mussels, oysters, and scallops, and he's longing for shepherd's pie, briscuit, and pork chops. If there were a third person, I'd cook them both and the remaining person could make a sandwich, but with two, there's no reason not to make something we both like, you know? I can make exceptions with steak because I can easily buy one by itself and cooking it is pretty easy, but not so much with mussels a la poulet. Hence my more desperate attempts at variety. ;)
